Real Estate Virtual Assistant Says, “It’s time to clean up!”.
That’s right…the holidays are just around the corner and it is definitely time to clean up your act. Time to declutter your office so you can “see” where you need to go. Time to get your address lists scrubbed and ready for holiday mailings. Time to clean up your schedule and start setting some time aside every day for some tiny portion of holiday planning, whether personal or business related.
Below is a link to an article that I published last year about this time that will help you to get started thinking about holiday organization, etc… And of course remember that your real estate VA can be a huge help in getting ready for the best that the season has to offer.
Here’s that link: Real Estate Virtual Assistant Tells Real Estate Professionals How to Get Organized for The Holiday Season
Real Estate Virtual Assistant Suggests Using An Editorial Calendar to Stay On Track With Your Blogging Efforts
We all use calendars already, right? Sure we do! The problem is, there are so many options available to us that many people have bits and pieces scattered over various calendars, which makes it very hard to stay on track. There are old fashioned wall calendars, desk blotter calendars, “Dayrunner” type calendars in our paper organizers, calendars on our computers, calendars on our hand held gaming systems even, and of course, calendars on our cell phones / PDAs.
Now, I’m not here to tell you that one calendar is any better than any of the others…I AM here to tell you that everyone is different and you need to use what will work best for you and your daily schedule. For most people, because we’re on the go constantly, that is going to be either the “Dayrunner” type calendar or the calendar that is on your cell phone / PDA. I...read more »

My Ideal Client (blog post)
As a Real Estate Virtual Assistant I am Often Asked About SEO
Clients basically just want a general understanding…they don’t want to know how to do everything themselves. Here’s a link to a blog post that I wrote over on Active Rain on the subject of web design and SEO…it’s not all inclusive by any means. Just a fun little overview…yes, I did say fun.
Go read this Real Estate Virtual Assistant’s blog post at Active Rain.
Don’t Keep Your Listing Inventory A Secret
Here’s an excerpt from an article that I posted as a Contributing Author last night over at RealBlogging.com, if you feel it’s worthy based on the excerpt, simply click through and read the rest of it. I think you will find that it contains some valuable information. Here’s the excerpt:
You’ve got listings, yes you do…you’ve got listings, good for you!!!
Ummm…the market is overflowing with listings right now, and no
matter how superior your listings are over anyone else’s listings, they
don’t do you any good unless you get them out there! You have to get
them out to the people that are buying in your area; you also want to
get them out to potential sellers so that they can see how you would
handle their listing if they were to sign with you. You have a sphere
of influence, you have a database…why aren’t you using it? continue reading…

Virtual Assistants flock to participate in the 2008 Virtual Assistant Industry Survey
Frustrated by inaccurate media
portrayals and industry outsiders miseducating their marketplace, Virtual
Assistants head in droves to partake in the third annual Virtual Assistant
Industry Survey.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Vista, CA, August 7, 2008 — Virtual Assistants are fed up. They’ve had it with inaccurate media
portrayals and reporters who don’t get the facts right. They’re sick of
exploitive industry outsiders who don’t understand the Virtual Assistance
business misinforming their marketplace. They’re tired of constantly having to
explain the difference between an employee and an independent service provider.
And they’re having their say about it all by participating in this year’s third
annual Virtual Assistant Industry Survey.
Every
August marks the time of year when Virtual Assistants can contribute to the
statistics and body of knowledge that is improving the industry’s understanding
of itself and the education of its market. Sponsored by the Virtual Assistance
Chamber of Commerce, over 10,000 Virtual Assistants from around the globe are
invited to participate....read more »
